Neighborhood Scholarship

Each year the Association awards up to a
$500 scholarship to a deserving
neighborhood high school senior whose family
is a member in good standing with the
Residence Park Neighborhood Association.
Winners are selected based on their
embodiment of excellence as a neighborhood
resident by looking at their contributions in
the areas of academics, athletics, leadership
and service.

To apply for the scholarship, students must
submit their college essay, an official transcript
of their high school grades and activities, and
one letter of recommendation from a teacher
or guidance counselor. The eligible students
may also include a description of civic and
community activities in which they have
participated. If they know the college they will
be attending in the fall, we would like that
information as well.

To qualify, students must live in Residence
Park and their families must be members of
the Residence Park Neighborhood Association.
Residence Park is the neighborhood bounded
by, but not including, Main Street to the
north, Pelham Road to the south, Centre
Avenue to the east and Drake Avenue to the
west.
